GlossaryPricing intelligence
Definition
Pricing intelligence
The ongoing tracking and analysis of competitor pricing including list prices, discounting patterns, packaging, and promotional behavior.
Pricing is positioning. A competitor's pricing page tells you who they think they sell to, how they segment, and where they are anchored.
Monitoring pricing changes is a leading indicator of strategic shifts, often visible weeks before the rest of the market notices.
