GlossaryTalk track
Definition
Talk track
A short script a sales rep uses to open, advance, or close a specific situation in a sales conversation, such as a competitive objection or a pricing question.
Good talk tracks are one to two sentences, tested across multiple reps, and tied to specific triggers.
Bad talk tracks are paragraphs written by marketing that no rep will ever say out loud.
