GlossaryBuyer persona
Definition
Buyer persona
A structured description of a specific type of buyer, including their title, company context, pains, goals, objections, and decision criteria.
Personas fall apart when they are aspirational fiction. The best personas are built from ten or more interviews with actual buyers and validated against sales data.
Each persona should make clear which message lands and which does not, and which channels the buyer actually lives in.
